On the location of a former football field, a new swimming pool is constructed in an existing forest room, designed by Slangen+Koenis. Within the forest room, in the four strips of ground around the building, we designed a landscape with a character of different gardens. On each of the four corners of the building, we opted for a slightly different approach in planting, placement of new trees, or function.
The forecourt provides space to store bikes, and there is a small parking too. The hardened surface is made of poured concrete and follows the design language of the landscape plan. At the backside of the building lies a modest sunbathing lawn in the garden. This too, is designed in poured concrete.
