Hoog Dalem – Gorinchem

On the east side of Gorinchem, new housing development Hoog Dalem was built; a district for 1,400 homes within the theme 'Hollandse Waterlinie'. Bureau Wissing asked Jeroen Marseille to help design the public space of Centrum Hoog Dalem. Along the water on the west side, the dike forms a strong edge of the district and provides space for footpaths, planting beds, playgrounds and a water ladder.

Surrounding the neighbourhood shopping centre (6,600m2) are large parking areas designed with hedges and trees. Between the shopping centre and the residential buildings, a number of squares have been created as part of the path system.
