In 2016 we took part in a tender for a new swimming pool in Mol. After our design had been selected we could further develop the plan and start building.
The planning area lies in the water catchment area of two small brooks and shows a very natural character. In the design, the new housing estate on the western part of the area is connected to the existing eastern part by a central square, which exists of surfaces in different colours. These refer to the molecular structure of the silver sand which is extracted in this environment. The square continues across the existing road and ‘through’ the building to the sunbathing area. The big parking programme is realized in two wedges at the front of the building.
